Media Regulation: Case Study - Chris Morris

Our focus so far has very much been on violence, but of course there are many, many more reasons why something may be censored/classified or regulated. Chris Morris has made a career of scratching at society's itches (sorry, terrible metaphor), and across a range of media (Radio, TV, Film) he has caused controversy and upset.

So just who he is?

This link tells you who someone on wikipedia thinks he is, but we all know the problems and issues with this.

The following powerpoint takes you through some of the more hysterical reaction to the Brasseye special when it was first screened on Channel 4.

One of my favourite ever videos this one - truly a different time!

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to this, the first attempt at a media studies blog.
It probably looks a bit basic and amateur compared to what it will hopefuly become, and what you will hopefully turn it into, but from tiny acorns do mighty oaks grow (or something).
